Vaison la Romaine
The next morning we head out for a tour of the Greek ruins, it is several blocks away from the hotel so we walked to the location. It is amazing to see the mosaic tile floors still in place and how well it has been preserved. We learned about daily life in the Greek times. We meet back at the hotel and Patrick has lunch prepared for us. Then we take a bus trip to a winery, Cave du Cairainne. There we are introduce to French wine making, and sampling, and purchase of wine. We have the rest of the afternoon and evening free.
The Hotel Burrhus was the hotel we stayed, was decorated very colorful. Each room had a different theme. It had a large amount of artwork that the owner collected.
